Russia has reported a 4% increase in the harvest of greenhouse vegetable crops, totaling 415,800 tons, with cucumbers and tomatoes leading the production gains at 4% and 3% respectively. This growth is concentrated in six central regions, two southern territories, and one Siberian region, and is attributed to government initiatives including funding for greenhouse modernization, tax breaks, subsidies, and low-interest loans, alongside regional support to encourage further investment in the sector.
