This week, as we commemorate Cotton Day, the sector also celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Cotton Business Information System in Pluma (SINAP). Maintained by the Brazilian Mercantile Exchange (BBM), the system has established itself as one of the main tools for transparency and cooperation in the Brazilian agribusiness. The platform, which gathers strategic data on the commercialization of the fiber, allows producers, brokers, and industries to monitor the market's performance in real time. According to Cesar Henrique Bernardes Costa, the general director of BBM, the success of SINAP is directly linked to the union between the sector's entities.
