Dried anchovies from South Jeolla Province have entered the export route to Australia, marking the full-scale entry into the global market. Jeolla Province announced on the 13th that it loaded 20 tons of dried anchovies at the Osung Seafood factory in Dolsan-eup, Yeosu. The export items consist of three types: dried anchovies, roasted anchovies, and boiled anchovies. The products, processed in 150g individual packaging, will be supplied to local consumers through Jeolla Province's permanent overseas sales stores and Korean markets in Australia. Osung Seafood, which led the export, is a seafood manufacturing company headquartered in Dolsan-eup, Yeosu. The company has systematized and managed the entire process from anchovy fishing to drying, processing, packaging, and shipping through its own internal system.
