Soybean negotiations slow down in October

According to the weekly analysis released by the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural and Livestock Economics (Imea) on Monday (10), "in October 2025, the commercialization of the 24/25 soybean crop in Mato Grosso reached 97.12% of production," registering an increase of 1.42 percentage points compared to September. The institute points out that "the lower volume of soybeans available, coupled with the low need for cash at this moment and the focus of producers on the sowing of the next season, resulted in a slowdown in the pace of negotiations." The average price of the grain in the month was R$ 121.45 per bag, with "an increase of 0.77% compared to the previous month."
