Soybean planting reaches 79% of the area in Paraná, Deral reports

The planting of the 2025/26 soybean crop in Paraná reached 79% of the planned area by November 3, according to a survey by the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), from the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab). The total area allocated to the crop is estimated at 5.776 million hectares, practically stable compared to the 5.770 million hectares cultivated in the 2024/25 crop. According to Deral, the conditions of the crops remain favorable, with 93% classified as good, 6% average, and 1% poor. As for the development stage, 16% of the areas are in germination, 80% in vegetative growth, and 4% in flowering. In the previous week, on October 27, the planting was at 71%, with 96% of the crops in good condition and 4% average, distributed among 28% in germination, 71% in vegetative growth, and 1% in flowering.
