Argentine exports experienced a 14% growth in the first half of the year, totaling US$38,176 million, with grains being the primary contributor. The 'primary products' category saw a 40% increase, generating US$ 10,126 million, and 'Manufactures of Agricultural Origin' rose by 9% to US$ 13,719 million. The country's countryside and agroindustry continue to be the main generators of foreign currency, accounting for 62% of the total share. The growth in primary exports is mainly due to increased production volumes, following the severe drought of the previous year. Soybeans, corn, and wheat were the main sources of income, bringing in US$ 15,000 million in the first half. Within the soybean complex, soy flour and pellets saw the highest increase in both value and volume. Corn also saw a significant increase in both value and volume. Wheat grains also increased significantly in both value and volume. Other agribusiness products like sorghum, chickpeas, and sunflower products also experienced growth, while peanut products saw a decrease in export volume.
