Brazilian exports of soybeans reached a record volume for the month of September, driven by strong external demand. This is indicated by surveys from the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea). On September 25, the country shipped 6.5 million tons of the grain, a historical record for the month and 6.6% higher than the volume shipped in September 2024, according to partial data from Secex. However, compared to August, there was a 30.3% contraction, a typical movement in the second half of the year when national stocks are lower.
