The sector also has a strong connection to local suppliers, with 35 Geographical Indication products. The industry's body, Federvini, emphasized the need for responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages and expressed concerns over regulatory measures and commercial tensions that could potentially harm the competitiveness of the spirits industry.
