Strategie Grains has increased its rapeseed production forecast for the EU in the 2025/26 season to 19 million tons, up from 18.74 million tons, due to favorable weather conditions and increased plantings in countries like Romania and Poland. The production estimate has been revised to be 13% higher than the current season. However, the report also indicates a shortage in the industry, with projected rapeseed stocks for June 2025 raised due to falling demand and lower anticipated imports. The EU soybean production forecast has also been increased to 3.2 million tons, allowing the crop to surpass 3 million tons for the first time. The grain sector in the Black Sea and Danube region will be discussed at the 22nd International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN. EUROPE-2025 in Prague.
