A study by the U.S. Grains Council and Dellait, led by Kurt Shultz and Dr. Alvaro Garcia, has found that U.S. corn outperforms Brazilian and Argentinian corn due to its higher starch availability, larger kernel size, and lower mycotoxin levels. The research, which compared corn samples from Mexico, Colombia, Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan, and the U.S., highlights the benefits of U.S. corn for the feed industry and livestock growth. Despite the higher cost, the increased starch yield can lead to significant profit advantages, particularly in industrial corn processing. The study is supported by the U.S. corn sector and aims to demonstrate the numerous advantages of using U.S. corn over other origins, including improved animal performance, energy savings, and enhanced feed mill profitability.
