The Khmelnytsky region in Ukraine has successfully harvested 600 hectares of Styrian naked pumpkins, a cultivar that has been grown by Vitagro for five years. This variety, originally bred in Austria, is notable for its seed lack of husks and is used for oil production, as well as in the baking industry and for medicinal purposes. The harvested pumpkins are processed to extract the seeds, which are then transported to a plant in Mykhniv for further processing before being exported to Europe.
