Since the clashes between the SAF and RSF erupted, the situation has deteriorated further, with cities in ruins, families separated, aid obstructed, and daily life becoming a struggle for survival. However, amidst the immense scale of the crisis, global attention seems woefully inadequate. Sudan appears to have been forgotten in the turmoil of geopolitical issues deemed more strategically important. Yet, the suffering of the civilian population there is not just a set of figures, but a real humanitarian tragedy. This crisis raises an important question: why is such a profound disaster not a global priority?
