The 2025/26 sugarcane crop in Brazil's Center-South region is progressing at a consistent pace, according to a report by Rabobank. By the end of August, 404 million tons had been crushed, corresponding to about two-thirds of the total expected. The average productivity from April to August reached 79.3 tons per hectare, about 8% higher than the previous crop, reigniting projections of a harvest exceeding 600 million tons.
