In the aftermath of the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey, especially affecting the district of Türkoğlu, local farmers have experienced a boost in dried tomato production, harvesting 800 tons and exporting them primarily to European countries such as Germany and France. This surge has seen a 25% increase in tomato yield and a doubling of exports from the previous year, generating employment and economic benefit for the quake-stricken region. Aiming to contribute 2 million dollars to the city, this resilient community is finding solace in production and providing added value to the local and national economy.
