Suncheon City conducts on-site consulting education for apple-growing farmers.

On-site key technology transfer for next year's high-quality apple harvest Suncheon City (Mayor Noh Kwan-gyu) announced that it will conduct on-site consulting for apple-growing farmers on the 29th at 9 AM in an apple orchard located in Hwangjeon-myeon as the first step in preparing for next year's farming after the harvest. This consulting will feature direct participation from apple master instructor Kim Byeong-cheol (from Geochang County, Gyeongnam), who will demonstrate years of accumulated technology and know-how on-site and provide customized advice to the farmers. The key management techniques covered in the on-site consulting include orchard management tips after harvest such as soil and fertilization, methods for maintaining tree shape to ensure branch arrangement and light exposure, guiding fruit setting, selection and application of pesticides at different times to reduce overwintering pest density, and prevention of growth disorders due to abnormal weather.
