Belarusian sugar exports to Russia will increase to almost 170 thousand tons this year, four times more than in 2022, according to Chairman of the Belgospishcheprom concern, Oleg Zhidkov. The concern supplies 99.9% of sugar and over 99% of salt in the Belarusian market, with a 25% share of Belarusian salt on the Russian market. While the concern focuses on ensuring food security domestically, it still exports about 35% of its product range.
