According to Iran's Statistics Center, chicken meat accounted for 98.6% of the total weight of poultry meat supplied. There was a 35% increase in the supply of poultry meat in the country's official slaughterhouses compared to the previous year, with increases in chicken and other types of poultry, but decreases in turkey and ostrich. In September 1402, there was also an 8% increase in poultry meat supply compared to the previous month.
