Support of 3 million lira for mohair goats in Bolu

Within the scope of the Agriculture and Forestry Ministry's efforts to protect and improve the Ankara (Tiftik) goat, 500 goats will be produced in Seben district of Bolu. A total of 3 million 130 thousand 496 lira will be provided in support for the 7 thousand 157 kilograms of tiftik planned to be produced in Seben in 2025. Within the scope of the "National Project for the In-Situ Conservation and Sustainable Use of Domestic Animal Genetic Resources" carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the tiftik goat conservation efforts, which have been ongoing in Kırıkkale and Siirt since 2005, were also initiated in Seben district of Bolu in 2023.
