In July, Peruvian tangelo exports, especially the Minneola variety, experienced a notable increase in value despite a slight drop in volume. The exports amounted to US$ 7.11 million for 5,413 tons, reflecting a 41.5% rise in value and a 5.1% decrease in volume compared to the previous year. The average price per kilogram surged by 49.1% to US$ 1.31. The United States was the top importer, followed by the Netherlands, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Colombia. Major Peruvian exporters included Procesadora Laran S.A.C., Coexa, and Consorcio de Productores de Fruta S.A., with shipments mainly through the Paracas Port Terminal, APM Terminals, and DP World.
