By early October 2024, dairy exports from the Republic of Tatarstan increased by 39.7% to $15.1 million, contributing to a total agro-industrial export value of $305.4 million, which is 66.7% of the planned target. Tatarstan exported 7.6 thousand tons of dairy products, including milk, cream, ice cream, and cheeses, mainly to regions like the Middle East, Transcaucasia, Asia, and North Africa, with significant markets in China, India, and Iran. Key contributors to this growth include companies such as Vamin Tatarstan LLC, Apastovsky Dairy Plant LLC, and Kasymovsky Dairy Plant LLC. Tatarstan, producing 2.19 million tons of milk in 2023, accounts for 6.5% of Russia's milk production. The export growth is attributed to factory modernization and investment projects under the national project 'International Cooperation and Export'.
