The article reports on the significant growth in durian production in Thailand, with a 11.18% increase in fruiting area and a 30.72% increase in output by 2025, due to favorable climatic conditions and farmers converting other plantations to durian. Other tropical fruits such as longan, mangosteen, rambutan, dragon fruit, and litchi also experienced increases in production area and output, albeit at different rates. The fluctuations in planting areas and outputs of these fruits are attributed to various factors, including the economic viability of the crops, climate conditions, and farmers' decisions to shift to other crops.
