The 100th year production period at Nuri Şeker Uşak Sugar Factory began with a ceremony. The ceremony, held in the factory yard, was attended by Deputy Factory Manager Sami Tekin, Uşak Branch President of the Sugar-İş Union Osman Özdemir, Mayor of Banaz and President of Uşak Beet Growers Cooperative Zafer Arpacı, President of Uşak Chamber of Agriculture Nafiz Mıdık, grandson of the factory's founder Nuri Şeker Mehmet Şeker, farmers, and factory workers. The ceremony began with the recitation of the National Anthem.
