The 2022/23 apple season in Poland presented challenges for growers, with a large harvest but a shortage of labor leading to a significant portion of apples being left unharvested. The initial sales period also saw disappointing prices. However, sales improved in February and are now nearing the end, with Dominik Woźniak from the Rajpol group expecting to sell all stocks before the new season. The new season is expected to see a decrease in the total apple harvest, particularly of the Jonagold and Idared varieties, while the Gala, Golden, and Red Delicious varieties are expected to perform well, provided they avoid major weather issues.
