The 2025 National Grain, Oil, and Soybean Industry Expo will be held in Changsha.

According to the report, from November 14 to 17, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held the National Grain, Oil, and Soybean Industry Expo in Changsha, Hunan Province. This expo, in-depth implementing the spirit of the 4th Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, is themed on "Leading the High-Quality Development of Grain and Oil, Assisting in Building a Strong Agricultural Country," focusing on the large-scale yield increase of grain and oil crops and the high-quality development of the entire industry chain, building a platform for results display, factor aggregation, and production-sales docking. Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Zhang Xingwang and Vice Governor of Hunan Province Chen Jing attended the theme promotion activities and delivered speeches.

This expo has three major features: First, the in-depth integration of the "four good" to jointly promote yield increase. The expo set up a thematic area for the integration of good fields, good seeds, good opportunities, and good methods, as well as water-fertilizer integration and facility agriculture, fully displaying the latest progress in large-scale yield increase. Second, the full-chain display and sales, sharing the grain and oil feast. The expo set up eight major sections, including high-quality grain and oil products from major provinces, soybean industry development, and financial credit services, concentrating on displaying over 3,000 kinds of grain and oil and soybean products from across the country that are influential, distinctive, and popular with the public. Third, multi-channel investment promotion and consultation on production-sales docking. Three institutions, including the Agricultural Development Bank of China, acted as the main promoters, while seven major grain and oil producing provinces, 24 major counties, 23 enterprises and research institutes acted as the thematic promoters. Sixteen core purchasers and 513 high-quality suppliers held one-on-one talks, and many leading e-commerce platforms, large wholesale markets, university procurement alliances, and supply chain enterprises attended for procurement.

This expo was held concurrently with the 26th China Central (Hunan) Agricultural Expo, with over 1,000 companies from across the country participating, and more than 20,000 professional visitors attending for talks. The expo attracted 248,000 visitors, achieving the expected results. During the event, multiple professional training and exchange activities on grain and oil, soybean, water-fertilizer integration, and facility agriculture were also held.
