Agrarian organizations have called for caution regarding the olive harvest forecast in Andalusia presented by the Junta de Andalucía this Thursday, considering that the production forecasts may be altered by the weather in the coming weeks. The general secretary of UPA Andalucía, Jesús Cózar, assures that the data from the forecast "demonstrate the uncertainty of the harvest, which will be confirmed as long as expected and absolutely necessary widespread rains arrive that allow the recovery of the current state of the fields." Cózar warns that "if it does not rain, a large part of the production can be lost," and has assured that "it is tremendously complex to forecast a harvest in a campaign like the one presented due to the climatic conditions that may occur."
