According to the latest resolution, the fishing arrangements in Argentine waters have been clearly divided into three stages: starting from January 2, the area between 49°S and 52°S will be open; starting from January 7, vessels that have operated continuously for more than 3 days south of 49°S will be allowed to enter the waters south of 44°S; starting from January 12, the waters south of 44°S will be fully open. This plan aims to balance the utilization of fishery resources with the sustainability of the population, avoiding excessive concentration of fishing intensity.
