The Rostov region in Russia, known for its fish production, plans to expand supplies to the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics. The region, which has over 400 enterprises involved in fish production and processing, currently supplies to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, and Stavropol Territories. There is an increase in the volume of fish processing products by 29%, reaching 22 thousand tons last year. The region is also experimenting with new types of aquaculture, including trout and sturgeon.
