The beet purchasing campaign has started in Kars.

In Kars, the 32nd period beet procurement campaign for 2025-2026 has begun. Kars Sugar Factory will process 122 thousand tons of beets. A ceremony was held at Kars Sugar Factory due to the beet procurement campaign. The ceremony, which began with a moment of silence and the national anthem, was attended by Kars Governor Ziya Polat, Acting Director of Kars Sugar Factory Vedat Parlak, Chairman of the Sugar-Is Union Yaver Kop, some provincial officials, workers, and farmers. Speaking at the opening of the program, Governor Ziya Polat said, "This nation will continue to produce for the state. We are watching together as our raw materials are transformed into products. It brings us happiness that one of the factories of Türk Şeker, one of the most important brands of our country, is in Kars, adding value to Kars.
