The cancellation of the reduction coefficient on the transportation of products may lead to disruptions in the supply of fish.

Starting from January 1, 2026, the discount coefficient (0.9009 to current rates) for the rail transportation of a number of foodstuffs in Russia will cease to be in effect, including vegetables, fruits, flour, cereals and pasta, fish and meat, salt and sugar, milk, oils, and others. In connection with this, the Association of Product Sector Organizations (ASORPS) will appeal to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin with a request to extend the effect of the discount coefficient.
