The Central Laboratory for the Analysis of Pesticide Residues and Heavy Metals in Food in Egypt has hosted 33 specialists from Libya, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt as part of the 'Third Date Palm Training Course'. The course, organized by the Egyptian Saudi Company for Organic and Conventional Agriculture (ESCO), aims to improve palm cultivation techniques and food safety. The specialists were trained on the analysis of pesticide residues, reduction strategies, international and local legislation, and the practical aspects of the analysis. The laboratory's pivotal role in food safety and its alignment with modern trends in pesticide residue management was emphasized.
