The first China-Europe train from Chengdu to St. Petersburg, Russia, was launched, carrying supporting materials for a major project of the “Belt and Road” initiative. The train is loaded with materials for the construction of the Baltic Natural Gas Chemical Complex project of China Chemical Engineering Seventh Construction Co., Ltd. (Sinochem Seventh Construction), the world’s largest ethylene integration project. The Chengdu International Railway Port has been expanding its overseas stations to ensure the transportation of all necessary cargo for the project. Since the beginning of the year, the port has seen a significant increase in the number of China-Europe Express trains, playing a crucial role in stabilizing the supply chain and promoting the circulation of internal and external markets.
