Ukraine is experiencing hot weather during July, which has negatively affected the development and formation of generative organs of spring crops. The lack of productive moisture in the soil and high air temperatures have caused premature drying of sunflower plants in many areas of the Odesa region. However, early corn crops in the Dnipropetrovsk region have effectively used thermal, water, and nutrient resources and are expected to have an advantage in forming the grain yield level. Despite the hot weather, the condition of the crops is mostly satisfactory, but many corn crops are showing signs of drought and yellowing and drying of leaves.
