Spain: The Cooperativa San José, from Sádaba (Zaragoza), works on the recovery of Bolinche de Luesia

Cooperativa San José, de Sádaba (Zaragoza), and Centro de Investigación y Tecnología Agroalimentaria de Aragón (CITA) have collaborated since last year in the recovery of Bolinche de Luesia. It is a variety of local white bean that is generally consumed dry, and that stands out for its good organoleptic characteristics, with a practically absent skin. The aforementioned Cooperative contacted the Horticultural Germplasm Bank of the CITA of Aragon to request seeds. The objective was to multiply them in order to increase the quantity of seed and to be able to undertake trials on a larger scale in the future. You want to select the most suitable samples for the recovery of your culture.
