Experts from the European Commission have increased the forecast for the EU wheat harvest in the 2025/2026 marketing year from 133.4 to 134.2 million tons, and for corn from 56.8 to 57.6 million tons, while the forecast for barley production has been reduced from 55.9 to 55.6 million tons. The total production of all cereal crops is estimated at 286.9 million tons.
