The export duty on wheat from Russia will increase to 109.1 rubles per tonne as of December 24.

The export tariff on wheat from the Russian Federation, which will be in effect from December 24 to December 30, 2025, will be 109.1 rubles per ton. Prior to this, it had been zero for two consecutive weeks. As the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation clarifies, the export tariff rate on wheat was calculated using an indicative price of $227.9 per ton. According to the department's information, the tariffs on the export of barley and corn will remain at zero, a level they have been at for a long time. The indicative prices of $219.2 and $202 per ton were used for their calculation. As noted, the flexible export tariffs on wheat, barley, and corn operate within the framework of the grain buffer mechanism and constitute 70% of the difference between the indicative and the base price. The indicative price is calculated based on export contracts registered on the Moscow Exchange.
