The farmers in the Stavropol Territory have set a target to export agricultural products worth $ 448 million by the end of 2022, marking a 19% increase from the previous year. In 2020, the region exported over 1 million tons of agricultural products worth $ 405.98 million. The main products exported include grain, meat, dairy products, and sunflower oil. Azerbaijan is the primary consumer of these products, accounting for 37% of the total exported agricultural products. Other significant consumers include China, Saudi Arabia, and Georgia. This initiative is part of the national project 'International Cooperation and Export', which aims to achieve a 20% share of exports in GDP and increase non-commodity exports to $ 250 billion by 2024.
