In the first quarter of 2024, Ukraine saw a significant increase in its meat and edible poultry offal exports, with a volume of 112.2 thousand tons, which is a 7.8% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. This resulted in exports valued at $222.3 million, a 23.5% increase from Q1 2023. The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and Slovakia were the main importers of Ukraine's meat and poultry products, accounting for 26.8%, 14.6%, and 11.7% of the exports, respectively. This surge in exports has been attributed to increased demand in the global market, contributing to a rise in world prices for poultry meat.
