The physical market for fattened cattle has begun to coexist with an environment of greater normality, despite rumors about China still circulating. According to the consultancy Safras & Mercado, there is no official position from Chinese authorities on samples of meat containing Fluazuron or on an investigation into the impact of imports on local production. With tighter slaughter scales, slaughterhouses are starting to pay more per arroba of fattened cattle in certain states, said analyst Fernando Henrique Iglesias from Safras & Mercado Consultancy.
