The Bioselena Foundation for Organic Farming will organize in the spring of 2026 the first farmer schools for children in Bulgaria. The idea is to attract children from primary school grades. In collaboration with representatives of school environments and farming organizations, the foundation will select demonstration farms. There, on-site, children will be able to see how plants and animals are raised and how clean food is produced without polluting the soil, water, and air. Children will travel free of charge to the farms, which will be located in five of the planning regions in the country, with only Sofia excluded. This was made clear by the words of Dr. Stoiko Apostolov, the foundation's manager. Over two years, there will be ten visits to various farms across the country, with the selection of exact areas and farms pending.
