The first Syrian ship specialized in the transportation of livestock to Brazil set sail today from the port of Tartous, after completing its local transformation from a commercial ship to one dedicated to animal transport, a feat considered the first of its kind in the region. The director of the Tartous port, Muawiya Hafyan, explained to a SANA correspondent that the ship was transformed by Syrian teams and workshops, and is equipped with all the technologies that meet international systems.
