The Ukrainian market has welcomed the first batches of greenhouse tomatoes for the current season, marking an early start by about one and a half weeks compared to last year. However, the quantity available is limited due to unfavorable weather conditions, leading to a significant price increase of 67% over the previous year for these local greenhouse tomatoes. In contrast, imported tomatoes from Turkey are available at much lower prices. The article also highlights a decrease in the prices of potatoes and table beets in Ukraine.
