The article reports a rise in the production of key vegetables in Russia, with cucumber yield increasing by 2.5% to 850 thousand tons and tomato yield growing by 7% to 620 thousand tons. The leading regions for this production include Moscow, Belgorod and Chelyabinsk regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, Mordovia, and Tatarstan, among others. This increase in production is attributed to state support measures such as preferential investment loans and incentive subsidies, especially in the development of the greenhouse business, especially in the Far Eastern regions where there is a mechanism for partial reimbursement of greenhouse construction costs.
