The grain harvest amounted to 46,000 tons. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Buryatia has reported preliminary results of the 2025 harvest campaign. As of November 21, farms of all categories have completed the harvesting of grain crops. The harvest this year began on September 1, and a regional state of emergency was declared in the republic on August 15 due to a serious soil drought. As a result, grain crops were harvested from an area of 44,000 hectares (taking into account 27,100 hectares written off due to drought). The grain harvest amounted to 46,000 tons, with an average yield per hectare of 10.5 centners. The highest yield was recorded in the Tunkinsky district - 23.9 centners/ha, in the Zakamensk district - 13.9 centners/ha, and in the Tarbagatai district - 12.8 centners/ha.
