Assessments on hazelnut prices, which have been moving horizontally since November in the Alaplı district of Zonguldak, varied among traders operating in the region. Some traders stated that prices were shaped due to the activity in exports, while others said that the crop determination to be made in March 2026 would be decisive. Hazelnut Trader Burhan Alper, who has been trading hazelnuts in Alaplı, Zonguldak for about 40 years, reported that hazelnuts, which reached up to 330 TL last month, were trading in the range of 280-285 TL according to this week's yield. Alper said that large companies buying in the market had remained in wait for a while, which caused prices to stagnate. He reported that a certain stabilization had occurred in the market with the recent resumption of purchases. "About a month ago, companies started buying at the 300 TL level.
