In Vietnam, this technological advancement is particularly noteworthy, such as the pilot test of the fish pond IoT system in Tuyen Quang province, which has already shown initial results. According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), Vietnam's aquatic farming output has been steadily increasing, rising from 4.1 million tons in 2018 to 5.7 million tons in 2024, with a value of 10.07 billion USD. This year, with an inland farming area of 1.3 million hectares and a seawater cage farming scale of 9.7 million square meters, the output is expected to increase slightly. The key to fully unlocking the potential of the aquaculture industry lies in the application of advanced technology. Water quality monitoring equipment, as an indispensable component, is gradually replacing traditional monitoring methods. Several Vietnamese companies have adopted high-tech solutions, such as the E-Sensor Aqua equipment from Eplusi Technology, the TC Check system from TC Group, and the e-Aqua platform from Cenintec.
