The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) has published on its electronic headquarters the resolutions with the 9,679 farmers and ranchers who will receive 27.8 million euros in direct aid for the large forest fires of last summer. These aids comprise two lines: compensation for loss of income in the affected agricultural farms and additional support for the cost of agricultural insurance for policyholders. The aids will be paid next week, once it is verified that the beneficiaries are up to date with their tax obligations and with Social Security. The list of people who fail to meet this requirement and who must regularize their situation will also be published. The deadline will be 20 working days for the aids for loss of income and 5 working days for the aids linked to the insurance. All information will be available on the Ministry's website.
