The Nonghyup Jeonnam Headquarters and Gwangju University conduct a volunteer event for persimmon harvesting.

The Jeonnam Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (Headquarters Director Lee Gwang-il) together with Gwangju University (President Kim Dong-jin) held a yuzu harvesting volunteer work and agricultural waste collection campaign on the 26th in Wando County, Wando Town. The event was attended by around 100 people, including Headquarters Director Lee Gwang-il, Branch Director Han Dae-woong, Wando Agricultural Cooperative Chairman Kim Mi-nam, members of the Wando Hometown Housewives Association and Farmers' Housewives Association, and the Gwangju University Student Council. The participants in the volunteer work were divided into two farms, assisting in the yuzu harvesting work as the harvest season began in earnest. A video capturing the volunteer work was filmed and edited into promotional materials. The Jeonnam Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation aims to spread the "Farming is Heartfelt" movement to foster a shared value of agriculture and rural areas among the people.
