The Chungbuk Garlic Research Institute is launching the distribution of a new garlic variety called "Tongtong." The Garlic Research Institute recently signed a general implementation contract with the Cheongju Agricultural Technology Center and the Eungpyeong Agricultural Technology Center. "Tongtong" garlic is characterized by having 4 to 6 cloves, large bulbs (over 15g), and producing about 40% more garlic than regular garlic.
