The African swine fever virus has been detected in the Kuraginsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, marking it as the third region in the area to be affected. The virus was first identified in a private farm in the village of Marinino. In response, over 1,800 pigs have been seized and destroyed, along with more than 17 tons of pork meat and pig products. Additionally, road posts have been set up to monitor the situation. The first outbreak of ASF in Russia was reported in 2007.
