A comprehensive test of over 10.5 thousand tons of canned fish products revealed that six batches, totaling more than 6.5 tons, failed to meet quality standards due to issues with appearance, smell, and other regulatory non-compliances. The affected products included canned mackerel, ivasi sardines, saury, and cod liver. The results, which highlighted violations such as mold, yeast, and heavy metal contamination, were reported to the study's customers and documented in the veterinary medicine system 'Vesta'.
